Ben Padley

Ben is a Marketing Director with more than 15 years of experience driving commercial success through all forms of marketing, from traditional to digital, including social media.

Ben was most recently Barclaycard’s first Global Digital Director and was previously Global Vice President at Sony Ericsson (now Sony Mobile) and Marketing Director for their UK and Ireland business, responsible for the product marketing of Sony Ericsson’s Walkman phone category. At Sony Ericsson, Ben was responsible for running all international web-based activity, specifically focusing on the company’s global website, social media strategy and operations, as well as establishing and running CRM. Ben was also one of the very few people who had worked at both Ericsson and Sony before they announced the joint venture of Sony Ericsson!

As an experienced VP of Marketing, Ben has led commercial success through all forms of marketing and product marketing, traditional and digital including social media and CRM, supporting the agenda of the Chief Marketing Officer. Outside of work Ben is a committed father, husband and running enthusiast and when possible raises money for the Cardiomyopathy association www.cardiomyopathy.org.
